‘O’ rings

The ‘O’ ring, or toroidal seal, is an exceptionally versatile sealing device.Applications ranging from automotiveto critical refinery or aerospace duties make it the world’s most popular volume-produced seal.

‘O’ rings have many benefits, they:

• Suit many static and dynamic duties.

• Occupy little space.

• Will seal in both directions.

• Are compatible with most fluid media.

• Elastomeric rings can function between

–65°C and +327°C (–85°F and +620°F)

according to material type.

• PTFE rings can perform at temperatures
